LGBTQIA+ Adult Services
Resource Center’s programming includes activities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual and more (LGBTQIA+) seniors, youth and families in addition to behavioral health counseling. The Center is home to a variety of organizations and serves over 62,000 people each year.
Current programs for adults ages 18-35 include FUSE, GenderBrave, Grupo Orgullo Hispano (GOH), United Black Ellument (UBE) and Women with Pride. Our program for adults age 50+ is THRIVE.
Women with Pride (WwP) is one of the only LGBTQIA+ women’s programs in North Texas. WwP engages LGBTQIA+ women age 18+ through programs, activities and outings designed to provide social engagement. Activities include advocacy, community events, monthly social events, a Lesbian Fiction Book Club and annual holiday party.

FUSE is an HIV prevention program for young gay, bisexual, queer and questioning men of all races and ethnicities, ages 18-35. FUSE hosts monthly meetings to discuss dating, hooking up and staying safe. FUSE also provides outreach and condoms to local bars, and offers free and private in-house HIV/STI testing.

United Black Ellument (UBE) is an HIV prevention program that empowers young Black same-gender-loving men ages 18-35 to achieve their greatest potential for good. UBE provides alternative social events and opportunities to promote diversity, well-being, and strength as individuals and as a community. UBE creates a safe environment to talk and encourage one another about issues, including safer sex, that are important to its members.

GOH is designed to educate Latino men in social programs. Our focus ranges from providing fun and educational activities, where participants have a place to express their ideas and feelings, to raise awareness about the reality we live in terms of health risks to which they are exposed.
Grupo Orgullo Hispano (GOH) es un grupo para chicos gay, bisexuales, transgénero y queer mayores de 18 años.
Grupo Orgullo Hispano (GOH) ofrece programas de prevención del VIH culturalmente apropiados para chicos gay, bisexuales, transgénero y queer mayores de 18 años de habla hispana. GOH se esfuerza por movilizar a sus integrantes para formar una comunidad saludable, a construir conexiones sociales positivas y a mantener relaciones sexuales más seguras.

THRIVE brings together LGBTQIA+ adults age 50+ through social engagement, community involvement and support to create a sense of belonging, positive mental health and a thriving community.
- Weekly events:
– Monday Support Group: Each Monday at 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. join us for a support group facilitated by Master’s Level Counseling Intern
– Monday Meetups: Following support group every Monday, socialize with new friends over lunch from 1-3 p.m.
- Monthly Events:
– Let’s Talk!: Peer-led, casual discussion group fourth Thursday every month, 6-8 p.m.
– Monthly Mixers: Every third Thursday of the month at 6-8 p.m., THRIVE offers activities like social mixers, game nights, movie nights and more!
- Quarterly Outings:
– Perot Museum, Dallas Zoo, etc.

GenderBrave enables transgender and gender-diverse young adults ages 18-35 to socialize and support each other in a safe space. Members raise awareness of HIV in the North Texas community and connect participants with appropriate and needed resources for their health and well-being. Activities include advocacy, community building, discussion and support groups, HIV prevention and support, outreach opportunities, social events, and workshops and forums.
